This is the home of the WordPress for Android project, chronicling the progress of our Open Source app for the Android OS.
Having a problem using the app? Please post at the forums for help instead of here.
If you would like to start a new post on this site, you can do so by signing up for an account at WordPress.com. Once signed in at this site, you can create new topics. Many of the devs also communicate over IRC in #WordPress-Mobile on freenode.
Experiencing a bug? Here's how you can help the contributors.
Search the WordPress for Android Trac and this blog (search form is below) to make sure your issue has not been brought up before. If it has, please reference the other post(s) in your report if you want to add more details!
Create a step-by-step guide on how to reproduce the bug. Should look something like this list.
Another thing that's a great help in debugging an issue, especially visual bugs, is a screenshot or two of the issue. Preferably with annotations.
Keep in mind: the more we know about the problem, the quicker we can resolve it! Thanks for supporting the WordPress for Android development team.
hmm I have problems getting access to stats with 1.4.1. I has worked fine until now. Then I made a factory reset of my phone and reinstalled wordpress app 1.4.1. Now I keep getting a login prompt when I try to access the stats tab. I am pretty sure that I input the right username/password as it is the same as I use for login on wordpress.com (which works fine). The blog has not been changed in any way and stats (inserted via jetpack) works perfectly on my dashbord.

Whoops, app crashes on 1.5 devices because I used a method that wasn’t available until 1.6. Will release 1.4.1 tomorrow. Will create another milestone for you Christof.
Très bonne application.
Mais pensez aux français,
qui écrivent avec des accents
et autres caractère spéciaux.
Car au premier accent l’article est tronqué.
exemple : éèàçù
Google Traduction (français > anglais)
Very good application.
But think of the French,
who write with accents
and other special characters.
For the first focus section is truncated.

Awesome
Can’t wait to get my hands on the next version (finally Pull To Refresh).
May I ask you to create a new milestone for the next version in Trac?

I don’t think anything with stats was changed in this release, puzzling.

The stats used to work with old WordPress.com Stats plugin for WP self hosted. If you install Jetpack over it, it continue working.
But, if in a new blog, you install Jetpack and configure Stats in it, then, don’t work in Android App.

Where can I log a bug/feature with XMLRPC? The iOS App does not seem to have this limitation.
