Here’s beta 2 of v2.0.5, it includes a fix for an issue reported last week where content would disappear from the post editor if the device ran low on memory. Make sure to try out the post editor thoroughly.

The 2.0.5 release is ready for some testing from owners of the Nook Color or Nook Tablet. If you have one of these devices, it would help us out a lot if you could give this build a test before we submit to the nook app store.

Please post any feedback here!
(Note: to side load the app, you’ll need to have a nook developer license or a rooted device)
Try killing some apps or rebooting and then have another go. The error means it didn’t have enough memory to create the thumbnails.
thanks Dan will try with testing
Here’s what’s on the list for 2.0.5:
I have a bug in 2.0.4 related to photo upload. When I upload a photo, the app disregards the settings in the photo upload section and uploads a 500 px wide photo instead, unless I select the “upload and link to full size photo” (which is too large for my purposes). How do I submit a proper bug report?
Actually it appears that the problem only occurs if I share a photo from the gallery to the app. If I take the photo from within the app (ie. using Quick Photo) then it seems to observe the size setting.
Thanks, I was able to reproduce that. I created a ticket for this: http://android.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/276
Hi,
When do you plan to release this modification ? My blog is a phonoblog/photoblog only, 500px is quite limitating.
Regards
Is it possible to re-install an older version of the apk (without this 500px limitation) for the moment ?
Just tap on the image and drag the slider to resize it?
Oh, thanx for the tip, didn’t notice it was possible !
(I guess the slider is easy to use if you’re a kid with tiny fingers, but for grown-ups, it’s almost unusable… what about a spinner ?)
Now that i know how to resize the pic, i have another question.
In the previous version of the app, it only uploaded one image. Now when i look at my dashboard, in the media section, there are 2 images. Same thing in the article in the front-office, there are 2 images.
I’ve tried the Post Formats called “standard” and “image”, but i’m facing the same problem.
(i’m not using the beta version, i’m using the one from the market)
Do you have ‘upload and link to full size image’ enabled in the blog’s settings?
oh yeah, it seems it was the problem, thanks a lot !
i didn’t really understand the meaning of the weird french translation of this part of the settings ! The translation really doesn’t mean ‘upload and link to full size image’
=)
(sorry, i don’t know why but i can’t reply directly under your message)
P2 has a limit to the number of replies
Would you be interested in helping fix the french translation? We have a lot of missing strings: http://translate.wordpress.org/projects/android/dev/fr/default
There’s a getting started guide if you’re interested: http://translate.wordpress.org/getting-started
i guess i can help yeah, as long as i understand the strings to translate and their context ! ![]()
I’m starting now, already translated 2 of them ! =)
just translated a whole page ! going to make 2 or 3 more pages, then i’ll do more later (i’m currently at work)
hey Dan, i guess i’ve done my job ! i translated every string but the terms of service =)
now, is there any place/topic where i can report my feelings about the slider (for the image size) ?
Because it’s really unusable. A spinner or a text field would be easier to use than this slider…
Android sliders should be banned forever…
Great, thanks! You can file bugs at http://android.trac.wordpress.org. I agree a spinner would probably make more sense for small screens.
thank you, it’s done : http://android.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/278
i have a 4.3″ screen, but fokken big fingers!! ![]()
Going to report this there, thanx

All better in r622. It will be in the 2.0.5 release.
This just made my week. The 2.x version of the app really brought me back around to the idea of doubling down on WordPress for all of my sites. Terrific work, great functionality. And, apparently, *badass* support. \m/>.<\m/ rawk!
