Hey
Just want to address a little issue in the danish translation of the application. I have search a little bit in the strings and found that the parameter “on” is translated wrong. Right now it is “Tænd” which means “turn on”… it should be “På” which is the correct translation.
Can someone please fix this?

Is there any possibility to find a validator for Tamil Translations? Translated but awaiting approval. Sigh! wondering whether I wasted my time on translation. I tried to make contact with many translators and all of them are moderators at wordpress.com translation not wordpress.org 
can someone point me to someone who has validating authority for Tamil in WordPress.org??

Where does the app show the string “post_not_published” and “page_not_published”?
Would be helpful to know the context to translate it.
And about the QuickPress I think it also has some hardcoded strings: “Set shortcut name”

@Christof – These appear to be part of QuickPress. Thoughts?
post_not_published and page_not_published is used in an alert dialog when the user tries to share a URL for a post/page which is not published.
I will add a fix for the “Set shortcut name” tonight, so it’s available as soon as Dan is adding the fix to the repository

Hi dev crew, first I would like to say thanks all of you. And now, why I’m writing this ‘post’, I’m quite interested in translation this great app to Czech language.
I don’t know exactly when Dan is going to release the localization build of the app, but you may want to have a look at the “Localization” trac over here: http://android.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/35
You can download the most recent english language file (http://android.trac.wordpress.org/attachment/ticket/35/values.zip). In this archive you’ll find two directories. The “values” directory is the english one, the “values-de” dir is the one with the german translation done by me. The code is going to change a lot in the future (so there will be need for updates of the language files) but I think for the initial release of the localization feature it’ll be good to have as much languages as we can.
Just a little sidenote: I’m not the main developer, so I can’t say anything about release dates/future plans. I’m just developing a bit, because I like the idea of OpenSource. There’ll be an online translation tool in the future, but I can’t say anything about dates.

@Gwolle – please check the latest SVN build, there’s a few more strings added around pages and comment notifications that need a german translation.
@swienczyk – great! When you have a completed file, can you attach it to the same ticket that Gwolle referred to above?
I already have it, but don’t know how to attach it to ticket!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but only file need to be translated is strings.xml
